The Montblanc 1858 line draws inspiration from the Minerva professional watches of the 1920s and 1930s, designed for military use and explorations. By reinterpreting these historical models, Montblanc 1858 expresses the spirit of the alpine excursions, embodying the modern trend of the return to nature. The Montblanc 1858 Geosphere limited edition 1858 is dedicated to the world challenge of mountaineering "Seven Summits", the "Sacred Grail" of mountain excursions. The 42 mm bronze case has contrasting beige details with brown elements, which draw inspiration from the colors of the deserts. The timepiece is equipped with a complication of the universal hour of manufacture, developed by the Montblanc watchmakers of Villeret: two rounded globes that revolve in opposite directions by making a complete evolution in 24 hours. Both are surrounded by a staircase with the 24 time fuses, together with a day/night indication with contrasting colors that allows you to better appreciate the various time zones, thanks to the luminescent continents, which guarantees greater visibility and better performance in the dark. The timepiece is completed by a shaded brown calfskin strap with beige stitching.
