The Butterfly

The Earth is our mother, and in the night sky, our grandmother, the Moon, watches over us. The butterflies represent Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls, reimagining their spirits as beautiful and free. Together, the motif honours the women who have come before us and those who have yet to come into being.
